30 years after its release, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band took the stage at an empty Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, NJ, to see if they could find new promise in the iconic album Darkness On The Edge Of Town.

Playing entirely for themselves, they emerged with a stunning run through the album, from the opening call to arms of Badlands to the desperate commitment of the title track, offering definitive live versions of classics such as Promised Land, Prove It All Night and Racing In The Street, and fulfilling Springsteen’s original vision of songs that would continue to have meaning beyond his youth and well into his own maturity.
