Nothing But the Blues is a major feature film directed and produced by Martin Scorsese and Stephen Weintraub. Withdrawn on its initial release in 1996 by Eric Clapton, the film, having laid in the vaults for over a quarter of a century has now been fully restored from film negative to 4K and has undergone a full sound restoration, with the approval of director Martin Scorsese and Eric Clapton.

Featuring legendary performances by Clapton from the Fillmore West in 1994, Nothing But the Blues looks at the history of blues musicians and blues music and how this has permeated into modern music and songwriting.

The film charts Clapton's musical journey and his love for blues music and features live performances of blues standards covered by Eric Clapton alongside historical video footage of blues musicians of various generations, up-close interviews with Eric Clapton as well as tributes to his heroes Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Otis Spann, Jimmy Rodgers and Buddy Guy.
