With the Royal Air Force as the Lead Service, the 2026 Tattoo will honour the power of connection and the role culture plays in bringing us together.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo brings together the best of military precision and international culture in an evening of music and dance, with performance from a global cast of over 800 performers presenting emotionally charged entertainment, world-class lighting projections and cutting-edge sound, set against the impressive backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
From Europe, New Zealand, Qatar and the United States, to Scotland’s own world-renowned military and traditional performers, A Call To Gather will see an extraordinary international cast come together for a full programme of music, dance and spectacle, celebrating not only the extraordinary talent on the Esplanade, but the enduring connections that have brought the Tattoo and its audiences together for more than 75 years.
