Showtime acquires New Order: Decades feature doc from White Light

US Network Showtime has acquired New Order: Decades from White Light Distribution.

The feature length documentary film on one of the UK’s most original and truly iconic bands, New Order airs on Showtime Networks in America on Sunday 27th December at 7.30pm ET/PT.

Directed by UK leading-director Mike Christie, Decades is a unique and timely film, marking 40 years since the band’s first TV appearance.

Part performance and part documentary Decades follows New Order’s preparations as they re-stage their acclaimed collaboration So It Goes with the artist Liam Gillick and the 12-piece synthesiser orchestra that spectacularly captured the headlines during Manchester International Festival 2017.  With full access to New Order and their collaborators including Gillick and art director Peter Saville, New Order: Decades is an unprecedented and intimate celebration of their story and their music.
